Tegmen™ ("we", "us", "our") operates this store and website, including all related information, content, features, tools, products and services, in order to provide you, the customer, with a curated shopping experience (the "Services"). Tegmen™ is powered by Shopify, which enables us to provide the Services to you.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and disclose your personal information when you visit, use, or make a purchase or other transaction using the Services, or otherwise communicate with us. If there is a conflict between our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy, this Privacy Policy controls with respect to the collection, processing, and disclosure of your personal information.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully. By using and accessing any of the Services, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy and understand the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described herein.
1. Personal Information We Collect or Process
When we use the term "personal information," we are referring to information that identifies or can reasonably be linked to you or another person. Personal information does not include information collected anonymously or that has been de-identified so that it cannot identify or be reasonably linked to you.
Depending on how you interact with the Services, where you live, and as permitted or required by applicable law, we may collect or process the following categories of personal information, including inferences drawn from this personal information:
- Contact details — your name, billing address, shipping address, phone number, and email address.
- Financial information — credit card, debit card, and financial account numbers; payment card information; transaction details; form of payment; payment confirmation and other payment details. Payment information is processed securely by Shopify Payments and our authorized payment processors; we do not store full card numbers on our own systems.
- Account information — username, password, security questions, preferences, and settings.
- Transaction information — items you view, add to your cart, add to your wishlist, or purchase, return, exchange, or cancel; and your past transactions.
- Communications with us — information you include in communications with us (for example, customer support inquiries, reviews, or survey responses).
- Device information — information about your device, browser, or network connection; your IP address; operating system; time zone; and other unique identifiers.
- Usage information — information about your interaction with the Services, including pages viewed, time spent, referring/exit pages, and how and when you navigate the Services.
- Marketing and communications preferences — your subscription status and preferences for email and SMS marketing.
2. Sources of Personal Information
We may collect personal information from the following sources:
- Directly from you — when you create an account, visit or use the Services, make a purchase, communicate with us, or otherwise provide us with your personal information.
- Automatically through the Services — from your device when you use our products or visit our website, and through the use of cookies, pixels, and similar technologies (see Section 3 below).
- From our service providers — including Shopify, payment processors, fulfillment partners, analytics providers, and customer support tools that collect or process your personal information on our behalf.
- From our advertising and marketing partners — including Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Google, and other ad platforms that share aggregated or matched audience data with us.
3. Cookies, Pixels, and Tracking Technologies
We and our service providers use the following technologies to collect information about your interactions with the Services:
- Cookies are small data files placed on your device that often include an anonymous unique identifier. For more information about cookies, and how to disable them, visit allaboutcookies.org.
- Log files track actions occurring on the Services and collect data including IP address, browser type, internet service provider, referring and exit pages, and date/time stamps.
- Web beacons, tags, and pixels are electronic files used to record information about how you browse the Services, including event tracking for advertising and analytics (such as the Meta Pixel and Google tags).
- Local storage technologies (such as browser local storage and IndexedDB) are used to store preferences and improve performance.
Where required by applicable law, we will request your consent before placing non-essential cookies and similar technologies on your device. You can manage your cookie preferences through the cookie banner displayed on our website or through your browser settings.
4. How We Use Your Personal Information
Depending on how you interact with us or which Services you use, we may use personal information for the following purposes:
- Provide, Tailor, and Improve the Services. To provide you with the Services, perform our contract with you, process payments, fulfill orders, remember your preferences, send notifications related to your account, process purchases, returns, exchanges, or other transactions, create and manage your account, arrange shipping, enable reviews, and create a customized shopping experience (such as product recommendations).
- Marketing and Advertising. To send marketing, advertising, and promotional communications by email, text message, or postal mail; and to show you online advertisements for products and services on the Services or other websites, including based on items you previously viewed, added to cart, or purchased.
- Security and Fraud Prevention. To authenticate your account, provide a secure payment and shopping experience, screen orders for potential risk or fraud (in particular using your IP address and order patterns), detect, investigate, or act on possible fraudulent, illegal, unsafe, or malicious activity, protect public safety, and secure the Services.
- Communicating with You. To provide customer support, respond to your inquiries, and maintain our business relationship with you.
- Analytics and Service Improvement. To generate analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Services, assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns, and improve the Services.
- Legal Reasons. To comply with applicable law or respond to valid legal process — including requests from law enforcement or government agencies — investigate or participate in civil discovery, potential or actual litigation, or other legal proceedings, and enforce or investigate potential violations of our terms or policies.
5. How We Disclose Personal Information
In certain circumstances, we may disclose your personal information to third parties for legitimate purposes subject to this Privacy Policy. Such circumstances may include:

9. Third-Party Websites and Links
The Services may provide links to websites or other online platforms operated by third parties. If you follow links to sites not affiliated or controlled by us, you should review their privacy and security policies and other terms and conditions. We do not guarantee and are not responsible for the privacy or security of such sites — including the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of information found on those sites.
Information you provide on public or semi-public venues, including information you share on third-party social networking platforms, may also be viewable by other users of the Services and/or those third-party platforms without limitation as to its use by us or by a third party. Our inclusion of such links does not, by itself, imply any endorsement of the content on such platforms or of their owners or operators, except as disclosed on the Services.
10. Children's Data
The Services are not intended to be used by children, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information about children under the age of majority in your jurisdiction. If you are the parent or guardian of a child who has provided us with their personal information, you may contact us using the contact details below to request that it be deleted.
As of the "Last updated" date of this Privacy Policy, we do not have actual knowledge that we "share" or "sell" (as those terms are defined in applicable law) personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
11. Security and Retention of Your Information
Please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee "perfect security." In addition, any information you send to us may not be secure while in transit. We recommend that you do not use unsecure channels to communicate sensitive or confidential information to us.

Global Privacy Control (GPC)
If you visit our website with the Global Privacy Control opt-out preference signal enabled, depending on where you are, we will automatically treat this as a request to opt out for the device and browser you use to visit the website. If we are able to associate the device sending the signal with a Shopify account, we will apply the opt-out request to the account as well. We will respond to your request in a timely manner as required by law.
13. Additional Rights for UK and EEA Residents
If you reside in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, and subject to exceptions and limitations provided by local law, you may exercise the following rights in addition to those outlined above:
- Objection to Processing and Restriction of Processing — you may have the right to ask us to stop or restrict our processing of your personal information for certain purposes.

We process your personal information on the following legal bases: performance of a contract with you (to fulfill orders), legitimate interests (to operate, secure, and improve the Services and to market our products), consent (for non-essential cookies, marketing emails and texts where required), and compliance with legal obligations.
